Full Day Tour
A fantastic boat trip to Ras Mohamed or Tiran Island and the Blue Lagoon for snorkelling, lunch and to see the famous shipwreck. Who knows, you may even see some of the local dolphins who regularly swim alongside the boats!
We'll pick you up from your hotel in Sharm at 9am in a comfortable, air-conditioned mini-van and drive the short distance to the harbour, where we'll board our lovely boat for the day.
Setting sail North East of Sharm El Sheikh, your captain will be heading through the 1800 meter deep Gulf of Aqaba to the Blue Lagoon, as you relax on deck with a cold drink and admire the beautiful views on offer.
Snorkel at the Blue Lagoon
After the 2 hour boat ride through the beautiful Gulf of Aqaba we'll arrive at the famous Blue Lagoon, a very popular site for tourists all over the world to come and dive, snorkel, swim or simply take in the views. Although the lagoon isn't particularly deep, you'll find an enormous range of tropical fish here along with beautiful coral reefs.
Snorkel at Tiran Island
After exploring the waters of the Blue Lagoon we'll continue to Tiran Island for more snorkelling or if you prefer, a swim. If you're lucky you may even see the amazing sight of the wild dolphins that live here as they play, swim and dive - a truly magnificent sight and quite common on this tour!
Well Deserved Lunch
All this swimming makes for hungry work, so we'll be serving up a delicious lunch on-board the boat with options to suit all tastes.
The Ship Wreck at Tiran Island
After some time on board the boat for lunch we'll head to the famous shipwreck at Tiran Island, a highlight for many of our guests, this huge doomed ship is fascinating to see. The 2,400 ton Loullia bulk carrier was wrecked between the Straits of Tiran whilst travelling from Jordan to Suez in 1981. Attempts to re-float the Loullia failed and were abandoned, but rumours exist of local drug dealers using it whilst it was still in good shape!
Sit Back and Sail to Sharm
After a wonderful day at sea relaxing, snorkelling, sunbathing, eating, drinking and generally having a good time, well head back to Sharm El Sheikh where you'll be driven back to your hotel.

Ras Mohamed Or Tiran Island Snorkeling Trip By Boat
We were picked up from our resort on time and taken to the harbour. The boat was in a lovely condition and our hosts were really good. We had a good amount of time on the sand bank but the snorkeling was cut extremely short and I can't say why. We were just demanded to get out of the water and off we went. The excursion description also mentions seeing a shipwreck site but that was not even mentioned on the day. The food was great and served in good time.

Ras Mohamed Or Tiran Island Snorkeling Trip By Boat
My boyfriend and I booked 5 trips with Sharm Excursion and all went really well and were pretty much as expected. This trip was very relaxing, though unfortunately for us the day was a bit windier and cloudier than would have been ideal. However, the water wasn't too cold, even in December, and we saw some really big and nice looking reefs. We didn't see anything too interesting in terms of sea life compared to what we had already seen snorkeling at our hotel, but this may just have been the day we went. I had never snorkeled before coming to Egypt, and when I jumped in at our first stop I freaked out a bit, but the professional snorkeling guide we had helped me out and let me hold onto a life preserver ring as we joined the group in the water so that I didn't miss the experience. I held on to the preserver until I had gained the confidence to go out on my own, so don't worry if you're scared! The people take care of you. Overall, it was a nice, relaxing trip!

Ras Mohamed Or Tiran Island Snorkeling Trip By Boat
I booked 2 trips with Sharm Excursions and they were both excellent. The Sea Trip to Ras Mohammed was amazing. It was totally relaxed, the boat was not too full and the lunch was lovely. The crew/captain were really pleasant as were the transfer guys and the snorkling was out of this world. Really cannot fault the day. (Mohamed even rearranged the trip - no quibbles - to another day when illness unfortunatly struck the night before!) Sharm Excursions were excellent. Thank You. xxx

yet another brill day out, the team were great and my 5 year old has discovered snorkling, we made 3 stops, the highlight for us was when my partner was taking pictures of sea snakes, looked up and down again and a 6 meter whale shark swam under him, food was good, only about 12 people on the boat unlike the others, would reccomend

This was a good, nice relaxing trip. We did snorkling at stop No.2 where it was the safest for my daughter for those who can't swim life jackets are given so no reason why non-swimmers should miss seeing under the red sea. We were very lucky our captain blew his horn for Dolphins to appear for us at a certain point on the trip we saw three one swam alongside then went under the boat for people at other side to see it, that in itself is amazing.

Do I need a visa for your Tiran Island snorkelling excursion or is the sinai-only stamp sufficient?
Why is this excursion also mentioning Ras Mohammed? is this because of bad weather the excursion will go to that place instead of Tiran Island?
Thanks in advancevfor answering.

My friend and I are hoping to visit from around the 20th/21st November this year. Do you still have availability for the one day plane trip to Cairo on the Sunday (25th)? Would there be a discount if we also booked the one day plane trip to Luxor?
I think he also wants to do the snorkelling trip you offer; do you hire snorkelling equipment of would we need to bring our own?
Many thanks
Michelle
