Ras Mohammed park marks the transition of the shallow Gulf of Suez , to the deep intercontinental Gulf of Aqaba, a small portion of the Grift Valley that stretches deep into Africa.
What's at Ras Mohammed
Here the salty water of the Gulf of Suez meets the much less salty water of the deeper Gulf of Aqaba, creating an ideal environment for over a thousand species of tropical fish aswell as more than 170 species of corals and a huge number of sponges and gorgonians.
Although not massive in size, Ras Mohammed national park contains an astounding variety of wildlife, including gazelles of the northern desert above the shoreline and brilliant orange coral reefs below it.
The boundaries of Ras Mohammed extend far out into the surrounding waters, and even the most casual of visitors is struck by how much of the park is dominated by the sea. Even the dry land area of the park seems a part of the marine world: in the north, large dunes are interspersed with outcroppings of Miocene limestone in which are embedded an astonishing wealth and variety of marine fossils. In fact, the dramatic promontory that marks the Sinai's southernmost tip belongs in part to the sea, as it is in fact an enormous, fossilised coral reef, left high and dry tens of thousands of years ago.
For many visitors, Ras Mohammed's most stunning scenery is found underwater, in the broad, terraced coral reefs that encircle the peninsula. Fire corals and brilliant sea fans abound here, and among these lush reef corals roams a truly magnificent array of both reef and pelagic fish--over a thousand species in all.
Snorkelling Excursion to Ras Mohammed from Sharm El Sheikh
We will pick you up from your hotel after breakfast and drive approximately half an hour in a comfortable, air conditioned vehicle. On arrival to Ras Mohammed we'll hit the water to snorkel in the astoundingly beautiful Aqaba Golf as well as the Suez golf where you will get a chance to see the Mangroves, and the amazing lake.
After snorkelling in the most beautiful areas of the park for the morning we'll finish the tour with some rest and enjoy soft drinks amongst one of the most dramatic views in Egypt. After a fantastic morning of snorkelling in one of Egypt's most popular sites, we'll head bac to your hotel in Sharm El Sheikh.

Can you book more than one excursion per day for example Ras mohammed by bus snorkelling trip 0800am-1400pm and then sharm dessert adventure 1430pm-2100pm will the bus definable get you back to your hotel by the times specified.

I was wondering whether the sea trip ras mohammed / tiran islands could be combined with the camel ride?
The sea trip to Ras Mohamed or Tiran Island is a full day trip so this is could not combined with Camel Ride trip .

I am going to Sharm next week with my wife and three children (9, 6 and 2 years old). Can you please let me know if I can go to Ras Mohamed and Camel Ride excursions with the two children aged 9 and 6? Can I take the 2 years old child to the glassboat excursion? Thanks in advance for your answer.

Your older children will be fine but I don't think the snorkelling trip will be very suitable for your 2 year old daughter, for her I would only recommend the Dolphin Show and Glass Boat.

do you need a visa to visit sea trip ras mohamed and camel ride.
Regarding the Egyptian Visa :
You must get the Egyptian visa before you leave your country or upon your arrival at Sharm airport if you will go on one or more of these excursions : Cairo by bus or Plane , Luxor by plane , Ras Mohamed by bus , Colored Canyon , Super Safari but all other excursions you don't need this visa .
If you need this visa you will get it from the bank at the arrival hall upon your arrival at Sharm airport the cost per person only 10 GBP. Then you will put this visa stamp and go to passport control , it takes about 10 minutes , then across to the place where you will get your luggage and after that you will leave to your hotel .
