Cairo by Bus from Sharm 2 Days Trip - Excursion

The 2 day bus trip to Cairo is the same set-up as the 1 day excursion, however instead of going back to Sharm at the end of the day, you will go to a hotel ready for your second day in Cairo

Day 1

We will pick you up from your hotel late at night (after midnight) and drive to Cairo in a comfortable bus with a toilet, water, and free soft drinks.

Upon arrival in Cairo, you will be met by our knowledgeable and friendly English speaking tour guide who will join you during your day tour in Cairo. All of our tour guides are specially trained and very knowledgeable in Egyptian history, our tour guides all have very good reviews so you can rest assured you're in safe hands and set to have a very memorable day!.

You will start the tour of Cairo at the Egyptian Museum, followed by an optional felucca trip (sailing boat) down the river Nile.

You will then get some time to fresh up and have a buffet lunch, followed by a quick stop at a perfume shop.

The amazing Pyramids of Giza are next, followed by the Sphinx, the Valley Temple and the Papyrus Institute.

Transfer to hotel in city center of Cairo.

Day 2

On the second day, at about 09:00am you will visit the citadel of Saladin, an amazing fortress built by King Saladin in 1170AD to protect the old city of Cairo.

Then lunch, followed by an unforgettable walk through the sounds, sights and smells of the Khan El Khalili street. The bazaar district is one of Cairo's main attractions for tourists and Egyptians alike, here you'll find restaurants, coffee houses, famous mosques, universities, and plenty of shops!

Khan EL Khalili Bazaar has been descripbed as one of the most interesting bazaars, not only in Egypt, but also in the whole Middle East.


After your second day in Cairo we begin our return journey to back to Sharm.

How Do I Pay?

On booking we will require a 7‰ deposit. This can be made using our secure PayPal payment system. If you do not have a PayPal account then don't worry, you can pay using other means if required.

The remainder of the payment will be made in Sharm, when on an arranged date that is convenient for you a SharmExcursions.com representative will meet you at your hotel to collect payment and assist you with anything you may need.

As with all our excursions, you will be picked-up from your hotel, and returned back to your hotel after the trip.

Hello! We did the two day Cairo excursion and we had an absolute blast! The staff kept us informed of everything that was going on from the day that we booked up, till the evening we arrived back in Sharm. An especially big thank you to our guide in Cairo, Wa-El (I hope I got his name right, if not then I'm very sorry!). We'd definately go with you guys again, and all I can now is.. I would just like to thank sharmexcursions.com for the best experience with a tour operator I have ever had! The Cairo by bus excursion was mindblowing, I learnt so much whilst on this trip and the guys who looked after us were perfect! We decided to go home with the rest of our group on the first night as we didn't fancy a second night in Cairo as I was feeling ill, our guide offered us a refund which we said we didn't want as we had decided to cancel our second night ourselves, roughly 3 hours on our way back to Sharm our guide came to us on the coach and said he'd organised us a camel ride and bedouin tea with stargazing included instaed of our refund!!! Absolutely first class service from absolute first class people who work for a first class company!!! An excellent day in Cairo made perfect by this company!!! Thanks sharmexcursions.com!!!
