Excursion to Petra by Plane from Sharm

Pick up from hotel early morning at 04:30 am , Transfer to Sharm airport , fly to Aqaba arrives at 08.00 am.

Drive to Petra by bus for approx. 2 hours, where a 2-3 hour guided tour begins. We enter Petra on foot, though the Siq, a narrow, winding gorge over 1 kilometer in length. We visit the Great Treasury (Al-Khazneh Farun), the Roman Theatre, the Royal Tombs (the Rainbow Tomb is a must for photographers), as well as hundreds of monuments, tricliniums, and obelisks, all carved from the multi-shaded, rose red sandstone. A walk through the colonnade of Roman Byzantine Petra brings us to the city centre for lunch. Afterward, we continue our tour to the hill of Al-Habis (crowned with a crusader-era fort) for a breathtaking panoramic view of deep gullies and uniquely colored rock formations.

Have lunch in Petra , drive back to Aqaba , an hour free time for shopping, and then transfer back to airport , fly back to Sharm then transfer back to your hotel in Sharm .

Excursion to Serabit el Khadim

Just got back from a 2 week holiday in Sharm. Me and my partner booked the 2 day trip to Cairo and Luxor with Sharm Excursions because they were cheaper than everyone else. We were a bit worried because we were asked to pay for our trip in cash GBP once we arrive in Sharm and we thought it is a bit odd that they would not take credit cards.
But on the day we were picked up from our hotel and on our way for this two day adventure. It was AWESOME!
We've been well looked after, the trip was very well organised and our guides very good. We got advice and information on everything required. In Cairo, someone in our group had to be taken to hospital because of blood presure and our guide went with him while the rest of us joined another group for a couple of hours. It felt good to know that if anything would happen they will be there to help. The guides seemed happy to change the schedule to suit everyone's needs. We were a group of 15 in Cairo and only 3 of us went on to Luxor the next day and we had a car and guide, Mohamed, to ourselves for the day. Mohamed really made our day, he took us to the bank when we need it, after we finished sightseeing took us to a shop where things were much cheaper than in Cairo and took us for a coffee and a traditional tea as well which were extra but we didn't mind because we had such a great time.
Overall we both loved the trip. All transfers to and from the airports were taken care of by Sharm Excursions as well as luch on both days and hotel over night in Cairo. We didn't have to worry about anything.
We would deffinetlly use Sharm Excursions next time we go to Egypt because they are so much cheaper than others and we had a great time.
They really are excellent!

Excursion to Serabit el Khadim

I was determined to visit the Pyramids during my holiday in Sharm el Sheikh and decided to try sharmexcursions.com which came highly recommended on this web site. I would have prefered to fly but being a family of four this just wasn't financially feasible for us, so we chose the bus trip instead.

The booking procedure was straightforward - a series of emails to and from Mohammed and completing a booking form. I was still a little nervous about meeting the rep on the first morning of our holiday in order to pay the remaining balance. The rep appeared at our hotel on time, took our payment and even had the £1.00 change (small change being something Egyptians tend not to possess)! My nervousness continued as he had very little to say and didn't hang around very long. I was so relieved when the bus turned up at 1am to collect us.

The trip was well organised and very professional. Our guide, Lawrence, was just fantastic (albeit a little crazy). He is such a knowledgeable, informative and enthusiastic man and he kept us all entertained all day long. He keeps to a strict timetable which worked well.

Although a very long and laborious journey it's definitely worthwhile. The highlight of my holiday.

We went on the 1 day coach trip to Cairo and from start to finish was an excellent day. Yes it was a 24 hour day having left at 1:00am but worth it. Coach was air conditioned, drinks on board and some lovely people. We arrived in Cairo and went to the Egyptian Museum first, Papryus Shop, Cruise down the Nile with Lunch, then the Pyramids/Sphinx and finally onto the Perfume Shop. The whole day was fantastic and Abraham our guide was very professional and knowledgable. I wouldnt hestitate to use this company again.
